Screen Printing can be cheap, accessible, and versatile and doesn't need to use special equipment. Tonight’s meeting is hosted by Alex, who is teaching how to print on the cheap with mostly equipment you might have on hand. The most basic stencil-printing will be taught and more advanced approaches will be reviewed.

What folks will need to print-along with the tutorial:

-A screenprinting screen. Any size will work but I will be using a small 8x10 screen.

-Screenprinting ink or acrylic paint. Actual screen printing ink will work better but if folks have acrylic paint on hand, it will do the job!

-Masking tape

-Wax paper

-An x-acto blade or small box cutter or scissors.

-A plastic card like a gift card or old credit card you don’t mind trashing.

-Whatever you want to print on. I'll be printing on paper for the tutorial but you can print on fabric too
