Since I didn’t have a topic for tonight’s meeting, I’m going with what I know. Tonight’s call will cover lots of things you may not have known about coffee. We’ll specifically be diving into it’s growing habits, sustainable farming practices, certification demystification, gender equity and nuance.

The presentation was originally given to educate folks who already work in the industry, but this is great information to help anyone be conscious consumers and get the story of the beans.

So many of us gardening folks love building relationships with our local farmers, but it’s rare that we get a glimpse into the lives of those who farm our products in different countries!
